For the rest of Ashes cricket series, Enlgland are missing their one of the most prolific batsman in world cricket Mr Kevin Pietersen. He has been ruled out of the rest of the series with an Achilles injury.


The news comes as a massive blow to England’s morale and momentum after a week in which they finally ended a 75-year jinx in beating Australia at Lord’s, and so went 1-0 up in an Ashes series for the first time since 1997. He himself very frustrated about it. Adding to England’s worries, key all-rounder Andrew Flintoff is struggling with the knee injury which will see him retire from Tests at the end of this series.
